Another reason we love our job.

Greg and I zipped to Chicago to work on a portfolio for V Magazine. We were impressed with the bands booked this year and managed to sneak in some cool shows between our several shoots.

MIA killed it! We also learned that MIA’s sister has a cool jewelry line. She’s rocking the gold antelope ring in her V portrait which you’ll have to wait until November to see. Here she’s hamming it up backstage with Ken (the stylists right arm) right before her stagetime.

Moment of Silence: Jeremy Blake

Our deep deep respects and prayers for our friends at Rockstar Games who have lost a kind soul.

Jeremy Blake was more than an “Art Star”—he was a real artist—abstract painter, graphic designer, visual artist. On July 17th he walked into the ocean at Rockaway Beach and vanished. Yesterday, it was made official. His videos brought us lots of emotion. Here’s one to remember him by. Google him for more inspiration. He left a beautiful body of work behind.
