Starworker Samantha Brewster was a fierce fashion force to be reckoned with on the door at the Julien Macdonald show in Mayfair last night. Thanks to her fur-lined cape and ethereal beauty she was worthy to stalk the runway too; the glam-gothic look was perfectly in keeping with the other-worldly creations in Julien’s AW11 collection (see below).

Jonathan Saunders’ AW11 show has garnered stellar reviews – and not just for the strict-yet-sexy womenswear featuring exotic floral prints. Saunders also used the occasion to debut his new menswear collection which confidently combined acid bright knits with boxy, drop-shouldered outwear. It knocked spots off the usual griege suiting served up as forward-looking menswear. Unsurprisingly, fashion editors are already deluging the JS team with sample requests. We’ll take one of everything please.

Listen up fashion fans: Swarovski has just announced it’s designer collaborations for AW11. Known as The Swarovski Collective, the role call of talented London-based designers includes Marios Schwab, Roksanda Illincic, JW Anderson, Richard Nicholl, House of Holland, Holly Fulton, Giles, Erdem and Mary Katrantzou. Expect innovative ideas which push the boundaries of crystal in fashion design.
