Here in London we’ve been working with a canny group of young men, who work under the moniker Guardians Of The Standard, an audacious undertaking, that now counts premium denim and apparel menswear brand Natural Selection, and super graphic t-shirt line REILLY, as under it’s creative direction.

To top it off, the boys have started their own blog – http://www.guardiansofthestandard.com/ a quite ingenious journal of their favourite sites, reviews, places and all round brand flavour.

Next up is an eagerly anticipated website for REILLY, which we hear has a very special interactive element, featuring REILLY’s own specially created characters.

So Starworks London (with Gucci and Dazed & Confused) were behind the fabulous party at Ronnie Scott’s on Wednesday night. VIPs such as Dominic Cooper, Jamie Campbell Bower & Bonnie Wright, M.I.A, George Craig (aka Burberry fame), Johnny Borrell and Mr Hudson (just to name a few) were all there to celebrate Mark Ronson’s exclusive trainer collection which he masterminded with Gucci’s Creative Director, Frida Giannini.

An exclusive group of VIPs headed to the pop-up store in Covent Garden beforehand to catch a first glimpse of the collection and were treated to a DJ set by Leigh Lezark & Geordon Nicol of the Misshapes, before heading over to start the celebrations. Jefferson Hack hosted the party, so (naturally) the cool kids followed and acts such as Friendly Fires, Patrick Wolf and Chauffeur featuring Mark Ronson, Sam Sparro & Theophilus London kept the party going into the early hours of the morning…Starworks highlight has to be Simon le Bon and John Taylor guesting with Mark’s band on Prince’s Glamorous Life- amazing!!

One great thing about being in the city of New York is people watching. The reason being:  New Yorkers aren’t afraid to express their creativity through fashion and their sense of style. Plus, everyone walks!

Here is my first take on NYC street style.

Meet Loan Tran.

Loan’s signature look is her bold wig. She has wigs in a variety of colors and wears each according to her mood. I adore this look, especially the stars next to her eye drawn with eyeliner.  It was interesting to find out that she’s an accountant.

Even dogs aren’t afraid to dress up and pose for the camera.  This pooch is sporting a pair of sunnies, a sweater, and 2 pairs of booties.
