Hedi is finally doing his own thing.

No more catwalk pressure for Mr. Ex Dior Homme designer. At 39 years old, Hedi has been flexing his art muscles for a few years now. Last week, Nov 28th, Hedi opened a solo show called “Perfect Stranger” in Paris in the Marais neighborhood gallery called Galerie Almine Rech. He’s documented his past shows on his MySpace page.

These pics are from his website. I can’t remember the last time a designer furiously messed with the internet so much. In his own digital world, he shares snapshots from his birthday party in Paris with Kate Moss and Pete Dougherty, Press Projects, and general Diary droppings.

Hedi also introduces his friends bands with a “Rock Diary” section, such as the band These Grey Days with a track called “Eight Legs”. Nice song! Check out the Rock Diary graphics — Strong. Simple. These digits roll like a moving ticker as the song plays out.
