Michelle Obama and  Samantha Cameron both looked ultra-sleek at 10 Downing Street this afternoon. Mrs Obama wore a pre-fall dress in wool crepe by Roksanda Ilincic (the second time she’s worn the London-based Serbian designer) while Sam Cam opted for a painterly Peter Pilotto dress. We’re happy to report that Starworks have special relationships with both of the designers in question (we represent them) and are SO proud that they’re flying the flag for British fashion in such a stylish way.

Starworkers in London are currently obsessed with the delicious fare on offer at Lina Stores.  The family-run establishment stocks all manner of store cupboard essentials, such as homemade pesto, pasta, sauces, sausages, breads, olives and cheeses. The Soho instituation was recently refurbished but is still as charming as ever. We bumped in to the perenially chic Hannah Swerling  from ELLE Magazine by the green-tiled deli counter earlier today. It turns out that it’s not just the tasty produce she loves  – her fiance is part of the family firm!

While vast swathes of the UK population claim to be indifferent to the impending nuptials of our future king, here at Starworks’ London HQ we’re beyond excited. Some staffers have really gone all out; Starworker Emilyne Mondo has dressed for success today in the vain hope that an last minute invite to Westminster Abbey will be forthcoming. She looks incredibly aristocratic, but something tells us that she might have left it too late. As a back-up plan, she’s also invested in a Wills & Kate mug so she can sip tea while watching the service on TV like the rest of us. Let the right royal knees up commence!
