In the spirit of summer, I decided to spend some of my hot summer nights on my own version of a summer concert series. My first stop was to Rihanna’s Loud Tour at Nassau Coliseum on Tuesday night. We had a surprise visit by Kanye West who performed “All Of The Lights” and “Run This Town”. Rihanna’s outfit changes were often and elaborate to say the least. My personal favorite was her opening looking, a neon gem bikini.
Wednesday night, I got a chance to see U2 for the first time, along with fellow Starworker Dafna. We arrived at New Jersey’s New Meadowlands Stadium where nearly 100,000 people were in attendance. Let’s just say things got sweaty real quick! Beyond how amazing they sound live, I have to say I was blown away by the stage, which pulsed all night with TV monitors, lights and speakers.
Next week I am off to see Young Weezy aka Lil Wayne…stay tuned…
