Nourish the Inner Aspect

Oscar-winning, magazine-cover-gracing, red-carpet-walking, and family-managing Gwyneth Paltrow is adding another skill to her repertoire — Lifestyle Guru. Since she has pretty much done it, seen it, worn it, tasted it, lived it all…she is now sharing her knowledge via GOOP “a collection of life experiences…what makes life good.” She will offer tips to Make, Go, Get, Do, Be, See which will enhance your own life. Currently in beta mode, each section will contain essays, tips and tricks, but more interestingly, an inside view into her life.
Gwyneth is not another celebrity with a MySpace page offering her inner thoughts and advise. Her culinary show with Mario Batali, Spain…On The Road Again, premiered on PBS September 21st.

(Anja Rubik spun a set at V Magazine’s launch for Issue 55)

Well, they’re not your average professional DJ’s, but V Magazine managed to rally some of their covergirls to spin at the launch of their Sept/October issue last Fashion Week. There were no record crates, or Serrato’s hooked up to laptops — just simple IPods sets. The real DJ, Spencer Product, manned the decks. Hark the era of amateur Supermodel DJ’s — and peeking into the personal collection of a glamazon.

Lykke Li, the adorable Swedish import and band of the moment, played a live set. Her album is currently on heavy rotation here at the Starworks office. As you can tell, it was a very good looking party.
